What We Do

The V4Vans business is focused on the sale, financing and supply of light commercial vehicles to small and medium businesses. The key task of its Franchisees is to maximise the profitable growth of their franchise by closely following the operating systems specified by the Franchisor. Above all, V4Vans Franchisees are expected to make the most of their unique position as part of the local business community and to ensure total customer satisfaction at all times.

What We Need From You

Franchisees are allocated a specific territory defined by postcode for the operation of their business and require no premises other than a home-based office. The franchise needs a good combination of sales and organisational skills and it can be run either by one Franchisee alone or by a husband and wife team " just as Pete and Amanda Clements started their own business back in 2003.

Our Administrative Support

A major benefit of the V4Vans franchise is that all the administrative and progress chasing services are provided by the Head Office " leaving Franchisees free to spend most of their time on actually growing the business. Each Franchisee will have his or her own nominated Administrator at Head Office to deal with all those vital but time-consuming tasks, from order processing right through to actual delivery of the vehicle to the customer and beyond!

Your Earnings

V4Vans passes on to its Franchisees the Net Profit from all vehicle sales after deducting a fixed 1.5% of the total sales value as its Management Services Fee. This deduction is in return for all the services provided to the Franchisees. Unlike many other franchised businesses, V4Vans Franchisees are never exposed to the risk of bad debt because all Purchasing of vehicles and services all Invoicing is undertaken by the franchisor, thus removing the cash flow worries from the franchisee.

Your Additional Expenses

In addition to the above Franchise Package Fee there will be other initial costs associated with the set-up of your "home office", telecommunications and launch advertising. You should also make provision for your own living costs during the early stages of running the business.

Your Training and Support

V4Vans is totally committed to providing the best possible initial training and ongoing support for its Franchisees.

Business Training " 1 day This first section of the training deals with establishing and launching the limited company, which is a requirement for all V4Vans Franchisees. It also covers such matters as VAT registration, setting up the "home office", ongoing financial controls, reporting procedures and relevant company legislation.

On-job Training " 4 Days This element of the training will be based at the V4Vans Head Office in Kettering. The Franchisee will be progressively taught every aspect of the day-to-day van sales operation and will also be introduced to his or her nominated Administrator " the person who will be responsible for the administration and "progress chasing" of all the Franchisee's sales.

Ongoing Local Support " 5 Days For five separate days of his or her own choosing during the first three months, each Franchisee will have the possibility to call on a member of the V4Vans Senior Management Team to work alongside them at their own business location, providing practical help and guidance. Such help is extremely valuable because it will ensure that correct sales techniques, systems, record keeping and other working practices are all properly established and maintained. Most importantly, help will be available at those times when the Franchisee has most need of it " for example when conducting a door-to-door sales "blitz", making a particularly important sales presentation or when addressing a local business meeting such as the Chamber of Commerce.
