All aboard the Baguette Express

The recent opening of the Baguette Express in Bathgate will add another feather to the already illustrious cap of Baguette Express bringing the number of franchises to ten.

David and Claire McMenigall are no strangers to the world of franchising as they own a successful baked potato shop in Edinburgh and are the owners of the new Baguette Express Bathgate franchise.

Baguette Express was established by brothers Robin and Billy Stenhouse in 1999 and has been providing and expanding the concept of healthy snacking options with the initiation of franchisees in Tranent, Galashiels, Hawick, North Berwick, Dalkeith, Musselburgh, Haddington, as well as two shops on Edinburgh's Lothian Road and Gorgie Road. According to the Director, Robin Stenhouse, Baguette Express aims to be the market leader within franchises by providing healthy, yet tasty food and they plan to achieve this with the help of franchising.

In these times of recession, franchising is a lucrative option and Baguette Express provides all that is needed to have a successful franchise of your own. With a solid support system, training and experience, they exhibit a sense of security for new franchisees. Their long term goal is to evolve into a global brand and with a growth of 50 percent in the first quarter of 2007, Baguette Express is all set to open the first shop in England.
