Bluebird Care franchise owners to open second office

Mehul Shar and Tushar Shar, brothers-in-law, in July 2007 joined the care at home franchise Bluebird Care which provides care in both Windsor & Maidenhead and Reading & Wokingham. Tushar said that their aim from the beginning was to build a sizeable business without compromising on the quality of care that their franchise provides to local residents and so they agreed to grow only one part of their business at a time.

It has been almost two years and they have an established customer base of fifty five clients on the books along with a growing waiting list. Presently, the pair is looking forward to focus their attention on the second area of their business in Windsor & Maidenhead. Tushar also said that they are aiming for a second office by the end of this year. They also hope to get closer to their goal of achieving an annual turnover of £800,000.

Tushar used to work in commercial sales and marketing whereas Mehul used to work as an investment banker. They both quit their jobs and started a photography and healthcare business by themselves which was a steep learning curve. Tushar further said that whilst conducting research for their healthcare business, they heard about the chance for growth in the care at home sector.

Whilst they researched different care at home business they were keen to avoid the downsides of running their own business again and so both of them decided to invest in a reputable franchise. Bluebird Care was their first choice as they provide ongoing training, focus and comprehensive support to the private sector whilst maintaining high care standards.
