Contempo Lettings Expands Into Northern Ireland

The Scottish lettings franchise, Contempo Lettings, has announced their expansion into Northern Ireland with newly appointed franchise owner, Donald McNair.

McNair considered franchising after running his own fitness club, but with the lack of support and training, he found running his own business difficult therefore considered franchising as a route to success. McNair commented: “I haven’t worked in the property market before so the training was very important and useful to me. I especially benefited from the one-on-one training provided by Contempo and the excellent ongoing support while I was launching my franchise. This is the first office in Northern Ireland and I am really excited about the future. I want to open more branches and employ people to grow the business across Northern Ireland.”

Contempo Lettings has been franchising since 2007 and have eight successful offices to date. Contempo strives to ensure that their franchise owners and staff have access to the very best knowledge and support. David received initial training from property management legislation to problem-solving technics that are designed to help him deal with difficult situations.

Contempo Lettings plans to award 30 franchise territories over the next three years. The housing market has seen remarkable stability in 2012, given the poor domestic and overseas economic climate. According to the National Association of Estate Agents, this is a key driver for the positive outlook for 2013 with rental enquiries seeing a surge of up to 50% in parts of the UK.
