Daily Poppins Announces 2013 Franchisee Prize Winners
Following another excellent year of trading, Daily Poppins announced their franchisee prizewinners for 2013. In celebrating the awards at the annual franchise network conference, Managing Director Nigel Bearman commented: “Despite the economic situation, it was a tremendous year for us with our turnover up again by more than 20%.
"At our annual conference we felt it was important not just to recognise performance in terms of turnover but also reward franchisees for going that extra mile and overcoming personal challenging circumstances.”
Karen Morton who operates the Dundee territory in Scotland won the Best Individual Territory franchisee. A delighted Morton said: “Having been running the business for jut over 18 months, I have been amazed at the growth level, so much so that I have now acquired a second territory.”
She was joined at the award ceremony by Agnus Furtak and Bartosz Gyzl from Cirencester, who were presented with the Best Multi Territory Franchisee. “Having put in the effort to building up our two territories, it was fabulous to get recognition as well as the financial rewards”
A special award was also given David Foster based in Ilkley, North Yorkshire, for his exceptional performance as 'Early Days Franchisee'. A delighted Foster said: “Coming on board in the last year, I have thoroughly enjoyed having my own business and this has certainly justified making such a decision later in my working career.”
Finally, Carole Critchley from St Helens was praised for her efforts as an 'Exceptional Franchisee' in developing a successful business against a backdrop of serious family illness. Critchley added: “Despite it being a difficult personal time, I have really enjoyed the experience of building up my own franchise with Daily Poppins.”
