Daily Poppins Recruits North East Birmingham Franchisee
Daily Poppins is delighted to recruit another franchisee to its growing network, with Pardip Thandi coming on board, covering North East Birmingham territory.
Based in Walsall, Pardip, who is a spritely 23 year old, decided the time was right to make the step into self-employment.
“My father has quite a large taxi business and he has been a major influence on my thinking. Since I graduated in business at the University of Leicester, I was doing different jobs and then settled in as a trainer of staff and management at the Royal Bank of Scotland. While working at the bank, it was obvious I was restricted in what I could do, where my career would ultimately go and the inflexibility of 9 to 5 working hours. Gradually I realised that I was not really appreciated and felt more like a number. I was really becoming frustrated and while I enjoyed managing people within the bank, I decided the only way forward was self-employment.”
Pardip researched various markets before deciding upon domestic cleaning: “I looked at various markets and saw the cleaning market continuing to grow. I knew there would be more opportunities for growth which is important. I also wanted a business that would allow me to expand and be more management based. With the help of my sister who works in marketing, we did around three months of research contacting a number of cleaning companies. Some did not contact me however most did. When speaking to Daily Poppins, we noted two important points. The first was that they specifically answered all the questions we asked and secondly, they were the only company who backed up their answers. So I decided to take up the franchise with them.”
As Pardip undertakes his induction training, he summarised: “With had work, I know I will be successful and look to expand my territory as much as possible. As you can imagine, I am really excited about starting my Daily Poppins franchise.”
