Domino’s Pizza continues to grow

Just when you thought Domino’s Pizza couldn’t get any bigger, it seems that expansion is still on the cards for the pizza franchise.

Domino’s Pizza has stated that they want to double the number of stores they have nationwide by 2012. This means that there will be around 1,200 Domino’s Pizza stores nationwide once this target has been met.

One of the proposed sites for a new takeaway pizza store is in Great Cambourne. Plans have been submitted to South Cambridgeshire District Council and they include the information that between 25 and 35 jobs would be created if the plans go ahead. Another site set to see the opening of a new Domino’s store is in Glasgow, where another 30 jobs will be created.

But the franchise expansion in the UK is not the only development that the pizza chain has to look forward to. Because the Domino’s franchise has also signed a Master Franchise deal for Germany too.

Domino’s Pizza stores will be opened across the country and the franchise will be run by Mr Yakir Gabay who is a successful businessman.

Michael Lawton, the International Executive Vice President for Domino’s Pizza has commented that establishing themselves in the German market will be an excellent opportunity for the business.
