‘A’ might be the first letter in the alphabet, but when it comes to selling franchises at Driver Hire, the letter ‘B’ is number one. Summer 2016 has seen three new franchisees snapping up opportunities in Barnsley, Blackburn and Bournemouth.
Joining Driver Hire’s network are Matt Robinson (Barnsley), Gary Pugh (Blackburn) and James Craven (Bournemouth). Matt previously worked in recruitment; Gary has a wealth of experience in parcel delivery gained whilst running a Lynx Express franchise and as a business development manager at Interlink Express. James moved from Switzerland where he was working as a change management consultant, to buy his Driver Hire office.
Driver Hire specialises in the supply of staff to the road transport and logistics industry. It’s one of the UK’s longest established and most highly respected franchisors with a network of over 100 offices.
Driver Hire franchisees provide temporary and permanent drivers and other logistics staff to businesses and organisations. They help when customers need extra staff to deal with holidays, illness or business expansion.
“We’re delighted to welcome Matt, Gary and James to the Driver Hire network,” says Graham Duckworth, Driver Hire’s Franchise Marketing Director. “They’re joining at a particularly auspicious time. Despite the uncertainty ahead of the EU Referendum, Driver Hire franchisees have made a strong start to the current financial year.. Overall, with our first quarter trading now complete, half the network has already chalked up £250k of turnover; we’re more or less neck and neck with last year’s all time record performance. Driver Hire’s proven business model combined with our outstanding levels of franchise support will ensure that Matt, Gary and James are every bit as successful.”
