Esquires is built on the principle of delivering an extremely high level of service. We seek to enhance the shopping experience by providing customers with convenience, exceptional coffee, a wide selection from a highly appealing menu and a very pleasant environment for meeting or socialising. Our brand is bright, contemporary and fun. We combine the very best in coffee shops by offering great food, exceptional customer service and the franchise owner attention to make it work!

Our success depends on our franchise owners, so we make sure we've got the right people - and we do everything we can to make sure they have all the support they need. We look after them, they look after us. Its all part of being a family. Simple.

It takes a special person to be an Esquires franchise owner. Commitment to quality and service, is a pre-requisite, but a business founded on customer service needs a warm and welcoming personality too. Experience in catering or retail helps, but the person matters more. In return for your commitment you'll get first class training, a carefully selected location, great product and a distinctive brand.

You'll also be able to work together with us to develop your coffee house in tune with your own customer's needs. You're never alone, you've got all our years of experience to draw upon wherever you need it, not forgetting that of the wider franchise owner community too.

What Are We?

More than just coffee...but what coffee it is!! At Esquires we've created our own proprietary fresh roasted coffee blend, a superb and unique flavour that has everyone (coffee lovers?) coming back for more, and it's Fairtrade certified!

Our menu features all the favourites, plus a few more. Classic hot espressos, lattes and cappuccinos as well as delicious frozen frappes.

Whilst we're intensely proud of our coffee, we know it isn't necessarily everybody's cup of tea. So we have a complete range of beverages to satisfy every taste, from exotic chai lattes and premium hot chocolate, to flavoured steamed milk to blended frozen Italian milkshakes and freshly prepared real fruit smoothies. Not to mention a variety of teas and infusions, of course.

There's plenty of food for thought on the menu too. Delicious muffins, mouth watering almond croissants and other viennoiserie, pastries and cakes, premium sandwiches and salads, toasted panini and soup de jour.

Market Leaders in Our Commitment to Fairtrade

Esquires Coffee Houses have already switched our entire range of coffees to Fairtrade in all our UK coffee franchises, and have now followed this by successfully sourcing Fairtrade certified tea, sugar sticks and chocolate powder.

This means that at Esquires, the basic ingredients for our hot beverages were bought at a fair and stable price, with an additional Fairtrade premium for growers to invest in community projects, such as improvements to roads and infrastructure, availability of clean water supplies, healthcare and education.

Fairtrade is about creating long-term relationships and access to credit, which allows producers to plan for the future. Fairtrade also promotes sustainable farming practices, the gradual reduction in the use of pesticides, and protection of the environment. As well as recognising our responsibilities and helping to support the farmers and cooperatives that supply the raw product, we are also ensuring that we will continue to deliver the best quality to our customers...

The One Foundation – "Just think - when you drink, Africa drinks!"

Worldwide, over 1 billion men, women and children lack access to clean, safe water. You can help change this through our partnership with One-Water. For every bottle of water you purchase at Esquires, 10p is donated to the One Foundation. The One Foundation installs unique Playpump® water systems in Africa. As children play on the Playpump® roundabout, underground water is pumped into storage tanks, providing constant, clean and free water to communities for drinking and for crop growing purposes.

Coffee Kids – Helping coffee-farming families improve the quality of their lives.

Beyond our commitment to fairtrade, a proportion of all coffee bean purchases is donated to Coffee Kids who believe that people hold the solutions to their own problems – they only need training, capital and capacity. By listening, and creating partnerships with local non-profit agencies with the ability to provide hands-on training, resources are committed that assist with Health Care, Education, economic diversity and community-based projects.
