Expansion of Card Connection franchisee
Card publisher and franchisor Card Connection has increased its territory to include a Chelmsford franchisee. Franchisee Paul Davis has obtained the Hertford area. In the spring, Paul purchased the Colchester Card Connection region and doubled the size of his business.
Franchise Director of Card Connection, Andrew Cutler said that many of their franchisees like Paul are seeing benefits in running large scale businesses. Larger businesses enable them to earn a larger profit. People like Paul who has some management experience can easily occupy neighbouring territory if any is available.
Card Connection is the market chief in the franchised distribution of greeting cards and is one of the UK’s leading card publishers. Franchisees place greeting card collection in retail stores on a consignment source using a proven system. Local franchisees provided retailers with the award winning merchandise service and have established the company’s admirable goodwill mainly within the convenience sector. Card connection supplies numerous national accounts such as Budgens, Londis, Total, Welcome Break, Shell and Spar.
Cutler added that his team members have prepared his wife and assistants to take over 10 postcode areas. Now he gains approximately 60 additional retail stores. He can further develop this by bringing in new retail consumers to Card Connection’s merchandising and distribution service.
