FastSigns’ award winning team still experiencing big sales
FastSigns, the sign making franchise based in Huddersfield has been reported to produce more than 70% of the town’s retail and commercial signage. And according to owners, Trevor and Mark Davies, business is still brisk. The father-son team who jointly own the FastSigns outlet in Huddersfield witnessed an impressive start to the year.
Sales in December topped £100,000 and this won them the accolade for the country’s best performing FastSigns team. Two months into the new year and there are still no signs of orders slowing down. The company which was started in 2005 is a specialist in graphics and signs.
Trevor said that there is no big secret behind the duo’s success. It simply includes hard work and a demand for the best standards from the team and themselves. He added that they have to live up to the name FastSigns, where customers expect and get high quality signs quickly. FastSigns at Huddersfield has invested in the latest machinery which includes an engraving machine for plaques and tactile/braille signage and a CNC flatbed router.
The success of the franchise has also helped Mark Davies who is an accomplished motor racing driver. Last year, Mark won the G20 British Championship and Motorsport News rated him 4th best in the country. Davies was recently promoted to the G50 Championship by his team, Optimum Motorsport.
