Franchise Show with over 100 exhibits

The British Franchise Exhibition was held at the Manchester Central exhibition centre on 30th and 31st January 2009. Over the weekend, 100 companies were represented in Manchester at this important event.

Interest in franchising is increasing as redundancies mount during the recession. Franchises offer ongoing support, a brand name, comprehensive training programmes, administration support, marketing support, business planning, national marketing, a brand development plan and even trained staff to develop your business. A franchise is the safest way to start a business during this period of uncertainty because there are limited risks involved in a franchise business.

Companies at the exhibition included Cash Generators, McDonalds, Blazes Fireplace and Heating Centres, Travel Counsellors, Fastway Couriers and other leading brands.

Franchise show organiser of Venture Marketing Group, Davis Tuck said that there was a substantial increase in prior ticket booking and attendance, which highlighted how the recession is driving people to look at franchising as a business opportunity to develop and improve their lifestyle. Many people consider franchises as they have the most successful business model available.
