Global Finance Firm Offers Entrepreneurs Chance To 'Meet The President'

An international finance firm, which offers a unique invoice discounting service, is offering budding entrepreneurs the chance to meet the firm’s president at an upcoming open house event in Glasgow.

Held at Harper Macleod Solicitors in Glasgow, The Interface Financial Group (IFG) President, David Banfield, will deliver a session based around entrepreneurship, self-employment, and the day-to-day life of an IFG franchisee.

Beginning with a single transaction in 1972, IFG now operates on a franchise model, currently trading from 12 locations across England and Ireland.

Banfield said: “It’s really important that those looking to move into franchising are provided with as much information as possible up front, so we’re pleased to be able to host this event and give those interested in running a franchise the chance to learn more about what we do and how we do it.

“We know that the transition from employee to franchisee can be daunting, so we want those looking to take on an IFG franchise to feel that they have our full support from the outset.”

With an extensive background in banking and financial services, Banfield has played a significant part in the development and growth of IFG. Taking on the role of company President in 1991, his international business experience was a key factor in driving the business forwards.

Banfield continued: “Although our franchisees often come from a finance background, this is not essential. We simply look for business-minded people with good customer relations, excellent decision making and problem solving skills, and a good entrepreneurial outlook.”

With the aim of serving small and medium-sized businesses across seven countries, IFG is looking to further expand the business in 2013.

Those interested in finding out more about IFG can attend the event, which will take place on Tuesday 19th February at Harper Macleod Solicitors in Glasgow.
