Home Instead Senior Care awarded at Startups
The title of Barclays Startups Business of the Year was won by Home Instead Senior Care. They secured the position of ‘team of the year’ and received a handsome amount of £5000 at the Startups Awards.
Home Instead Senior Care currently has 25 franchised offices throughout the UK which provide care for 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The main aim of this company is to provide assistance and care to elderly people. They also allow them to stay living in their own home for as long as possible.
The founder of Home Instead Senior Care, Trevor Brocklebank, said that they want to completely change the face of ageing in the UK. His grandfather’s illness made him realised the lack of concern and quality care available for them. He decided to start a business that can better the lifestyle of old people and they achieved high success within a short span of time.
Startups.co.uk organised the awards ceremony at the Royal Gardens Hotel, Kensington. The founder of startups.co.uk, David Lester, said that their winners are the drivers of today’s economy and business leaders of tomorrow. Startups Awards is all about recognising the efforts of companies that have achieved success in such hard economic conditions.
