Mundays Solicitors Strengthens Franchising Team
Surrey law firm Mundays LLP has appointed partner Julian Harvey as the new head of the firm’s non-contentious franchising team. Its contentious franchising team will continue to be led by James O'Flinn.
Harvey has been with the Mundays Corporate and Commercial team since 2007 and has established a strong reputation as a commercial lawyer. His appointment follows on from the decision by Chris Saunders to move to an in-house role.
The firm’s Franchising team has established an excellent reputation over recent years and this is reflected by its high position year on year in the independent legal directory Chambers Guide to the UK Legal Industry – it is ranked UK-wide in the 2014 edition.
Clients commenting about Mundays in Chambers said: "Its franchise expertise and specific knowledge of our company are second to none. It takes the time to understand the specifics of our sector and give flexible commercial advice” and “I have been very satisfied with the depth of knowledge of the Mundays team, which is why I continued to work with them".
Harvey said: “I am very much looking forward to this new challenge having worked closely with James during the last couple of years. We are committed to working with both franchisors and franchisees and will continue to draw strength from our highly experienced Franchising team members.”
Val Toon, Managing Partner at Mundays, said: “We are very excited by the new appointment of Julian to the Franchising team. Both James and Julian have outstanding qualities which will drive the team forward to new heights. Their awareness of the legal and economic climate in which we operate will help us build on the superb work we do in franchising.”
