Papa John’s Stafford Store Opens With Pizza Party

Leading Pizza franchise, Papa John’s, has announced the opening of its Stafford store. The outlet based on Stone Road, Stafford, was officially opened with a pizza party, giving away 200 pizzas to local residents. Following a £200,000 investment and the creation of 25 new jobs, Mayor of Stafford, Councillor Angela Loughran, cut the ribbon to declare the store officially open.

Stafford Papa John’s will be run by franchisee partner Buta Singh Chatha who is the nephew of Tony Singh who already runs 14 Papa John’s outlets. Tony Singh commented: "I'm delighted that we have managed to secure premises in Stafford and have the opportunity to provide Papa's pizzas to people in the area. A number of employment opportunities will be created by the new outlet and available for local residents."

“We are delighted to welcome Buta Singh Chatha to the Papa John’s franchise team,” confirmed Anthony Round, Business Development Manager. “We are managing a programme of expansion and are looking for enthusiastic franchisees to help us open new outlets across the UK. We also have some exciting incentive deals on offer.

“For new stores opening in Wales, the Midlands, North East, the North West and Scotland, we are currently offering a 12-month fee break if opened by July 2014 or a nine-month fee break for stores opening before the end of 2014. To get new franchisees off to a great start we are also supplying free oven and refrigeration equipment, plus an additional £10k of marketing spend for the store opening launch. The whole package could result in savings of 50k for your first Papa John’s store! These fantastic deals are only available for 2014 and are limited, so first come first served!”
