Your Training and Support

pet carers is totally committed to providing the best possible initial training and ongoing support for its franchise owners. The initial training is of the utmost importance to pet carers. The Training Programme consists of three sections that will take place at the Cheltenham Headquarters with all accommodation and meals provided. Training topics includes the following:

Section 1 - Business Training

The first section of training covers the initial set up of the business including the preparation of the franchise owners home office. Also, pet carers accounting and legal requirements, budgeting and cash flow, record keeping reporting procedures will be covered.

Section 2 - Practical Training

To familiarise the franchise owner with all aspects of the Franchise business system, pet carers will supply a practical hands-on training scheme at the Cheltenham branch. This will also consist of some enjoyable time out and about experiencing and learning the everyday duties for customers, along with the recruitment of Host Families and the organisation of Dog Walking and Pet Visiting. The Course will also provide essential advice on pet carers marketing, animal nursing, dog training methods and animal handling.

Section 3 - Certification

Upon Successful completion of the above training, franchise owners will be awarded a pet carers Certificate of Competence.

Ongoing support from the Franchisor will include:

• Local Support - The Launch Kit. As part of the Franchise Package, all franchise owners will be provided with a Launch Kit which includes marketing materials and promotional support by the Franchisor working alongside the franchise owner on their allocated territory for a day - all of this will help create maximum awareness of the new Franchise.
• Continuing Support from the Franchisor.
