LaNautica.com: LaNautica.com is the first worldwide network of chandler stores, associated with brokerage, pre-owned boat sales and all types of boat rental.

RnB proposes a brokerage service to all the boaters who wish to sell their boat and who often are very professionally busy: managers, executives, entrepreneurs, industrials, doctors, lawyers. They don't really have time to take care of the sale of their boats, or simply, owners who live far from their boat location. Once our School of Learning course completed, the RnB broker acts for the owner as an intermediary and marketing agency as well, to display the products in the most effective way: magazines, websites etc.

By integrating the RnB concept and its brokerage services gives the opportunity to all boating clients who wish to sell or rent a boat, to benefit from a unique system that includes all the necessary brokerage, chandler and charter services they would need which can only be offered by a Yachting professional.

The Franchise Network - Service With a Big 'S'

The help provided to the Royal Yachting franchise owners is related to all the requirements in terms of customer service - an essential element in this trade. Candidates start with a meeting at our head office and if the result is positive, this meeting is followed by an enrolment to our introduction course, first step and part of a pre-contract. This pre-contract allows you to book a geographical location and take part in the first one week course which will help you to determinate if your project is achievable. If the course has a positive outcome, both parts sign an agreement franchise agree license contract and a service contract allowing the future licensees the use of:

• the brand use of LaNautica.com, RnB or Royal Yachting in a specific and exclusive geographical area
• the right to the brand image LaNautica.com, RnB or Royal Yachting
• the access to the pre-owned boat stock database of all the agencies worldwide
• for the owners of lanautica.com, the access to the LaNautica.com catalogue and the sales results online from the internet site
• a computer system for the sales of all the products and services
• exclusive management software and an intranet
• access to the database of all available boat rentals and to the central reservation system
• the course program
• the constant help of the head office

Financial Information

Each agency Royal Yachting manages an exclusive zone of, at least 1500 boats available. On this stock, about 15% of those boats are for sale; three boats out of five bought by boaters are used boats, there were 60,000 transactions in 2008 (figures from the Federation of yachting industry).

The total investment, excluding commercial premises, is around €90,000 and includes organization and layout of the premises, course program, convention and working capital. Turnover can reach between €200,000 and €450,000.

Each RnB Broker is in charge of an exclusive zone of, at least 1,500 boats. The total investment is around €40,000 and includes the course programme convention and working capital, Royal Yachting database access, head office support and marketing pack. Turnover can reach between €90,000 and €250,000 a year.

The association of LaNautica.com and RnB, with their services of brokerage and boat rental, represents a unique concept in their sector, which strengthens and complements both activities. The capital needed is approximately €135,000 (excluding lease). It includes the layout, shop fittings and interior design, furniture, stock purchase and initial training with exclusive soft-ware. The expected turnover should be between €300,000 and €700,000 per year.

Candidates of the Royal Yachting group must be passionate about the tourism trade, from the welcoming to the sale and be completely motivated by the yachting world. They must have the equity and a real ability to manage a business. Royal Yachting is looking for people who are clearly dynamic, ambitious and courageous. Active listening, skills and availability are three essential qualities required to make it in this trade.
