Search is on to find the ‘Franchisee of the Year’

The search is now on to decide the UK's best performing franchisees. The launch of the yearly British Franchise Association's (bfa) awards for Franchisee of the Year marks this search. The British Franchise Association (bfa) has just launched its annual ‘Franchisee of the Year Awards’ sponsored by HSBC Bank and Express Newspapers. Judging panels this year’s are looking for franchisees whose businesses have excelled at ‘Managing Change’ and have managed to outperform their competitors. In a black-tie event to be held at Birmingham’s International Convention Centre, the winner’s name will be declared. The winner will receive prize money of £5,000 and the two runners-up will stand to win £3,000 and £2,000.

According to the director general of British Franchising Association, Brian Smart, the awards are being given for recognising UK’s leading franchisees for their focus and drive. They are looking for the franchisee model, which will effectively demonstrate the fusion of the franchisor for building and holding a network that franchisees are fully committed for developing their business.
