The first franchise owner of Bluebird Care goes from strength to strength

Having carried out some extensive research, Sue decided to become the first franchise owner of Bluebird Care franchise back in October 2006. Sue signed her Franchise Agreement at the NEC, Birmingham during the National Franchise Exhibition. Since then, she has successfully grown a care at home business in Cannock, West Midlands. The business has also been awarded with the maximum possible three stars rating by the independent regulator of health and social care services, the Care Quality Commission.

During the process, and whilst Bluebird Care rapidly expanded, Sue created 30 jobs by opening 61 offices across Ireland and the UK. Sue has returned to this year’s NEC National Franchise Exhibition and has received praise for her hard work from Paul Tarsey, the managing director of Bluebird Care franchise. Currently celebrating three successful years in the business, Sue is now planning to open another office in Stafford in the New Year.

Sue took the franchise opportunity because she liked the thought of putting something back into the community. She also looked at other possible franchise opportunities but after meeting the team of Bluebird Care team, she wanted to work with them. Sue also said that it feels great to be the part of a growing family. The Bluebird Care franchise now has a successful network of 62 offices operated by franchises – reflecting the growing need of the public for quality care at home.
