The Sky's the limit for Cash Converters
Cash Converters staff have raised £3,500 for children's charity, Dreams Come True, by taking the leap and skydiving from 15,000 feet at Hinton Sky Dive Centre.
The team of eight based across Cash Converters head offices in Runcorn and their offices in Ware, accepted the hair-raising challenge in support of the national charity which helps fulfil the dreams of terminally and seriously ill children.
Rachael Franklin, head of HR at Cash Converters and part of the thrill seeking group said: "The whole experience was daunting but one that I will never forget. The feeling after completing the jump was exhilarating and all whilst raising money for a fantastic cause. The entire Cash Converters HR and training team are now set for our next mission of taking part in the 10k Santa run in December for Dreams Come True."
Cash Converters, the UK's number one retailer of pre-owned goods and financial services provider, has already raised more than quarter of a million pounds for the charity, which has helped realise the dreams of over 100 children.
Chief executive at Cash Converters, David Patrick, said: "It was must have taken a lot of courage to be able to complete the skydive but it was great to see so many of the team get involved in aid of Dreams Come True."
Peter Newman, chief executive of Dreams Come True said: "This is another great example of how Cash Converters really gets behind raising money for our charity. A skydive is no mean feat and the fundraising amount will really help us change people's lives."
