Attractive Earnings Potential

Net earnings within established franchise areas are known to exceed £50k per annum; our Essex franchise owner has shown a net profit of £96,000 for the year ending January 2009. As for any new business, the first year or two demand hard work to lay foundations for a successful future. However, you can expect to have repaid your initial franchise investment of £17,500 within 2 years, and The Wedding Guide Ltd provides a working model for business growth and development over a three year period, based on actual figures supplied from existing successful businesses.

Challenge, Interest and Variety

Running a Wedding Guide business requires good communication skills, and stamina in a competitive but rewarding market place. You will be dealing with two main sets of 'clients' - the wedding businesses (from national brand names to new startups) and Brides to Be, who need the services of those specialists.

You will probably be web and computer literate, and although there is no need to be a designer. Printing processes are serviced by The Wedding Guide Ltd - your task as Associate Publisher is to provide the advertising entries for your area book and to establish and maintain a distribution network for the books through a network of wedding dress specialists, wedding fairs and county Register Offices. Wedding Guide Associates expect to learn new skills on the job and to respond positively to competitive challenge - and to have fun doing so! Most of our associates operate from home and a separate office is not necessary.

It is up to you to decide your own working hours, but we encourage a full time commitment to achieve the most successful results.

Resale/Re-negotiation

The Wedding Guide franchise is unusual but not unique in that it does not have set term contracts before terms are re-negotiated.

There is a minimum performance clause and the franchise owner is required to put their area up for resale if this is not met; they does not lose their investment.

However assuming minimum standards are achieved, and they are in nearly every case, then when the franchise owner wishes to leave, or retire, the business is put up for sale as a going concern and the franchise owner takes the sale proceeds, less a training retainer for the new incumbent, which is payable to Wedding Guide.

Thus recently one of our franchise owners earned a good living for six years and then turned his investment into a sum of £195,000 by selling his franchise on.

This is not a bad situation to earn a living for six years and, at the same time, increase your investment ten fold.
