A legal requirement
Every organisation operating from premises must install and maintain fire safety equipment ranging from the ever-present fire extinguisher to a fully zoned fire alarm system – this is a legal requirement. Most of these organisations also seek to protect their premises with a range of other solutions including intruder alarms, CCTV or access control – a Jackson Fire and Security franchise provides a solution to all of these requirements. Regular servicing of these installations by your team of engineers creates a recurring stream of income and helps organisations protect their people, assets and premises.
This is a management franchise. Part of your role will be to recruit and manage a team of qualified fire and security engineers. You will also be responsible for developing commercial relationships and new business in your territory.
No previous industry experience is required as comprehensive training is provided to help you run this management franchise. To succeed however, you must have a strong sales background and the drive to grow a client base of repeat business service contracts. Full technical, marketing and accounting support is provided by Head Office.
Each franchise territory contains thousands of public and private sector buildings all of which require the installation and maintenance of fire safety equipment by law. There is also an ever present need for property owners to protect their premises from unwanted visitors and in restricting or managing access to their buildings. Installation and maintenance of effective intruder alarms, access control systems and CCTV is therefore a service which is always in demand.
While the economic potential of the Jackson business formula is considerable, your earnings will still be largely dependent upon your effort, tenacity, and ability to follow the prescribed method.
Jackson Fire and Security have created a first-year marketing action plan designed to help you focus your valuable time on the activities needed to help you grow your business. In addition, your franchise package includes a proven marketing launch campaign developed with the assistance of our retained marketing agency. Our top franchisees turnover in excess of £50,000 per month and a fully functioning multi-van operation is capable of generating over £1 million turnover p.a. providing a net profit margin above 25%.
An initial investment of £39,500 + VAT is required for the franchise, which will provide your new business with all of the assets, stock, equipment and training required for you and your first engineer to launch a full-service business.
Training and support
As this is a management franchise no previous industry experience is required to establish a Jackson Fire and Security franchise. If you have a sales or account management background and a natural ability to network, engage and develop strong business relationships you would be ideally suited to running this franchise.
We will train you in the management of all aspects of the business. Our 20-strong head office team are ideally positioned to help you meet any challenge in your new business. The 30-day training course conducted at our national training centre is designed to help you qualify as an accredited fire and security provider. We provide on-going marketing, software and business development support in conjunction with our leading industry partners.
