##Biggest Ever Growth For Énergie Group
The Chairman and Chief Executive of the énergie Group, Jan Spaticchia, has announced that the fitness franchise company, which boasts a network turnover of circa £26m, is about to implement ambitious plans to enter its biggest growth phase since the company started in 2003.

The news comes as the UK’s fastest-growing fitness franchise celebrated its 100,000 member.

Énergie finished 2014 with 90 clubs open or in presale, including new opening of Fit4less sites in Wallington, Wembley, and Wellingborough. Having opened a club a month in the last year across the network, the Group is now gearing up to accelerate its rollout.

In 2015, the Group plans to open 36 clubs between January and December, across its three core brands Fit4less, énergie Fitness for Women and énergie Fitness Clubs. The group has also confirmed it has 44 fully funded franchisees with licenses for 66 clubs and that the Group is granting an average of three new franchises every month.

In the first three months of 2015, énergie will open two clubs per month, which will increase to three per month from April and four from October. The first quarter will see openings of Fit4less in Preston, West Ealing, Epsom, Manchester, Aylesbury and Bedford.

Énergie will also extend its International portfolio in the New Year, an area Spaticchia confirms the énergie Board is keen to pursue, he said: “We have mainly been focussing on ensuring that our existing clubs are well supported introducing a new support structure and management team. Our domestic openings have also taken priority and with an average of 1,500 members presold for a Fit4less, we are outstripping targets through planning and execution that I am now confident in. Next year, we will continue to build on this but with additional personnel we will also be able to focus on growth abroad.”

Énergie opened its third Fitness for Women franchise in Latvia last month and will open its first Fit4less clubs in Plavnieki, Latvia and Gadansk, Poland in the first quarter of 2015.

Having recently opened énergie Fitness Club, Naas (Dublin), which is the largest club in the énergie estate at 31,000sqft, and establishing itself as Ireland’s largest fitness operator, the Group will continue to grow its three brands across in Northern and Southern Ireland.

Jan Spaticchia added: “The fitness franchise market is at a confident high as we enter 2015. The énergie Group has invested considerably in improving services, training and systems across the board, which has put us in a strong position as the market leader. 2015 is set to be a pivotal year for the Group as its looks to create a platform for unprecedented growth.”
