##Director Of North London Care Provider Runs, Cycles And Swims For Charity
Joe Daly, Director of home care company Caremark (Barnet & Enfield), successfully completed his first triathlon last month, and in the process raised over £300 for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
As part of his training regime Daly cycled and ran around Enfield and then built up cardio fitness by swimming in the men’s pond on Hampstead Heath in preparation for this challenging event, the PruHealth ITU World Triathlon in Hyde Park. The triathlon involved a 750-metre swim in the Serpentine, a 22.5-kilometre bike ride and a five-kilometre run. Competing alongside Daly was his son Mike, with the pair spurring each other on as they motored through each part of the challenge.
Meanwhile, Caremark (Barnet & Enfield)’s Managing Director, Anna Wilson, supported the duo from the sidelines, cheering them on as they went through each phase of the triathlon.
Daly completed the event in a very respectable one hour and 39 minutes.
