#Fastsigns franchise increases its workforce

Fastsigns, the Leeds based signage company is confident that the worst of the recession may now be over. The month on month sales of the company are increasing, and the company has also taken on a new member of staff to assist them with their increasing business.
The owners of Fastsigns, Andy and Chris Simpson, have recently appointed Tom Rhodes as the Sales and Marketing Assistant, with the special responsibilities of dealing with social media and photography. This includes Twitter activity, blogging, podcasts and Facebook.

Fastsigns currently employ ten members of staff, and this year they will be celebrating 15 years in business. Andy Simpson said that they are looking forward to a rise in new business. Their existing customers are also ordering more, which means that the talk of ‘green shoots’ may be true. Going on their sales performance so far, they are on track to celebrate a really good anniversary year.

Andy added that, at times like this, it is extremely essential to have a strong marketing presence, which is why they made the decision to bring Tom on board. This has also helped to free up the sales team, allowing them to completely focus on sales. Tom has a strong background in media production in TV and film, in addition to working as a part-time freelance photographer.

It looks as though 2010 is set to be a great year for Fastsigns.
