#Forces Recruitment Services Finalist In National Recruitment Award
Forces Recruitment Services, the UK`s leading and longest established specialist ex-military recruiter, has been shortlisted by industry experts at the industry’s trade magazine, Recruiter, as a finalist in the 2012 awards.
Hundreds of Recruitment Consultancies are considered for the industry’s own `Oscar` awards each year, and this is Forces Recruitment Services’ first shortlisting in the Best Candidate Experience category which recognised FRS’ outstanding customer service towards their candidates and the support and mentoring they provide to secure them post-service employment.
FRS Managing Director, Graham Brown, said: This national recognition by our industry peers is particularly special for us and it’s entirely down to the hard work of our whole team in creating an outstanding customer service culture focussed on our candidates.”
He went on to say: “We often place candidates with no equivalent `civilian trade`; they may have served their country for 22 years and seen several operational tours but they are infantrymen and find it particularly challenging to find appropriate work when they leave. The extra input we have in profiling these candidates helps them recognise the transferable skills they have accumulated and which are sought by employers – structured organisational systems, disciplined approach, trained managers and leaders with an outstanding `can do` attitude. Finding the perfect job for candidates who don’t know what to do when they leave service is very rewarding and at the core of the whole FRS business philosophy.”
The nomination continues a busy 10th year for the FRS franchised network, which has already seen its 1,000th placement and a major recruitment drive instigated to help and support ex-Servicemen and women through the MoD`s current redundancy phase - 4,200 job cuts in a second round of Armed Forces redundancies - as part of the Strategic Defence and Security Review.
The Awards Ceremony will be held at The Grosvenor House Hotel, London, on Wednesday 2 May 2012.
