#Head of SIGNS, Kingston wins an award
The head of SIGNS (Kingston), Mr. Mark Phelps is feeling like the king of the world as he has won a national award for FASTSIGNS Kingston. Mark beat over 22 other franchise owners in the UK and won at FASTSIGNS UK National Convention and Awards Dinner as the Best Company Project of the Year.
His project that won the award was for the London Eye. He, along with his team fixed an entire sign package for the big wheel, along the banks of the River Thames. They rebranded 32 capsules and designed 64 floor graphics. Mark said that they brought 12 fitters to complete the task which took place over night.
Mark went on to say that he bought many doughnuts and fizzy drinks to make sure the fitters could continue to work throughout the night. He revealed that it was a lot of fun to push the huge red button that helps to turn the wheel as few people get this opportunity.
The managing director of FASTSIGN (UK), Garth Allison appreciated the work done by Mark and his team. He praised them for winning the award in a very competitive category.
