#Kitchen Retail Franchise Thrilled By Sales Boost
The Managing Director of one of the country’s biggest kitchen retail franchises has hailed a `great start to 2013`.
In the first quarter of the year, retail sales for In-toto kitchens are up 16 per cent on the previous year, while overall sales are up 13 per cent.
With three new retail showrooms soon due to open in Bath, Oxford and Clitheroe (Ribble Valley) bringing the total to 48, Managing Director Jonathon Wagstaff said he is delighted with how the company is progressing.
Wagstaff believes the success is down to the performances of the current franchisees across Britain, from Belfast to Stirling and Exeter, combined with contemporary and traditional ranges and design expertise.
“The focus has been on the activities, event and local communications from within the In-toto stores,” Wagstaff said. Lots more of our franchises are doing activities and demonstrations and letting customers know what is going on and we’ve also put more in the presentation of the showrooms.
“The investment into our new concept store in Oadby, Leicester, has also proved hugely beneficial to support the franchise network through training, product and range testing and by monitoring consumer trends. In each of our stores, we showcase the best we have to offer and it is clearly proving to be a hit with customers, all backed up by excellent advice and service from the franchisees.
“We have a track record of 32 years as a leading high street kitchen franchise, offering mid to high end contemporary German and, more recently with the launch of our Shaker collection, traditional British kitchens. Our great start to 2013 shows we are going in the right direction and will continue to push forwards to make sure the rest of the year follows suit.”
