#Milestone Achievement For Healthy Snacks Franchise ChariSnack

The ChariSnack franchise organisation, which sells healthy snacks and smoothies direct to workplaces to raise money for charity, has donated an astonishing £370,000 to the National Blind Children’s Society. The snacks are sold from counter-top self-service boxes, which are usually left on reception desks in offices, factories and schools. They include nuts, dried fruits and rice crackers, as well as smoothies from well-known brands including The Clever Little Drinks Company.

ChariSnack Director Gordon Blood said: We are absolutely delighted with the close partnership that has developed between us and the National Blind Children’s Society. Our aim is to eventually raise £1m for the charity. I must also take this opportunity to congratulate NBCS on its 15th years of providing invaluable support and services to young people with visual impairment.

The ChariSnack team in Exeter, including our franchisees and customers throughout the country, are all delighted and proud to be able to assist by continuing to provide funds to help ensure the dedicated staff at NBCS can carry out their crucially important work.

NBCS chief executive Carolyn Fullard added: Since we receive no statutory funding and depend entirely upon donations, legacies and fundraising, our partnership with ChariSnack is vital in enabling us to support the estimated 24,000 children with visual impairment in the UK, and their families.

Their achievement of reaching the £370,000 milestone is a wonderful 15th birthday present for us. I hope everyone will support our work with blind and partially sighted children throughout the country by continuing to buy ChariSnack’s delicious, nutritious and healthy workplace treats.
