#Papa John’s Opens in Manchester

Leading Pizza franchise, Papa John’s, has now opened in Manchester. Papa John’s has created 20 new jobs in the Manchester Oxford Street store, after a £200,000 investment move.

Franchisee Gerry Hughes said: “I’m delighted that we have managed to secure premises in the centre of Manchester, and already the store is proving a big hit with residents and workers in the city.”

Hughes also owns several other retail franchises in other industries and his sister, Wenna Spence, also runs an interior plant company. They opened their first Papa John’s - Manchester’s Fallowfield store – last summer. Hughes said: “At the time we were looking for a new franchise that offered room for growth. We researched the pizza store market thoroughly and Papa John’s stood out with a superior product, store locations and overall franchise opportunity.”

A number of employment opportunities have been created by the the new outlet. Roles include delivery drivers, pizza makers and store assistants. The latest opening means residents and businesses in the city centre will now be able to experience the philosophy that has made ‘Papa’ John Schnatter famous across the globe, and enjoy 100 per cent fresh dough pizzas that deliver a better, natural flavour.
