#Recognition Express helps Samaritans Purse

When father and son, Keith and Rob Walker, the owners of Recognition Express North Staffordshire found that they had more than 500 packs of wax crayons and coloured pencils, they instantly thought of the Operation Christmas Child project that is run by Samaritans Purse.

Keith, who is based in Stoke-on-Trent, said that he had earlier heard about the project and thought that the children receiving these boxes may just appreciate having some writing and drawing materials. He also said that he feels great to make such a contribution to this appeal and help bring some happiness to children who may otherwise not be able to get any gifts during the Christmas period.

Recognition Express is one of Europe’s leading suppliers of promotional products, corporate recognition gifts and embroidered clothes, including school uniforms.

Operation Christmas Child is one of the largest children`s Christmas appeals in the UK and has been running for over 19 years. A huge number of volunteers provide their time to distribute gift-filled shoeboxes to children in Eastern Europe, Africa and Central Asia. Recognition Express are providing their crayon and pencil packs to a processing centre at the United Christian Broadcasting Centre, Stoke-on-Trent.
